6 Healthy Mocktail Recipes to Enjoy Without Alcohol
The World Health Organization recently shared an important statement in The Lancet Public Health:
"There is no level of alcohol consumption that is completely risk-free for health." (1)
If you're looking to reduce your alcohol intake or eliminate it altogether, you don't have to settle for plain water. Mocktails can be flavorful, refreshing, and a fun way to enjoy social occasions without alcohol.
We've gathered six delicious mocktail recipes, each featuring wholesome ingredients and paired with Why Not Natural supplements for additional nutritional support.

1. Paloma Mocktail
Features: Citrus flavors, hydration, and zinc supplementation
Makes 1 large glass

Ingredients:
- 1 juiced grapefruit
- 1 juiced lime
- 1/2 Tbsp local honey
- Sparkling water

Directions: Mix grapefruit juice, lime juice, local honey, and 1 dropper of zinc. Stir well, then fill glass with sparkling water. Put a lime on the rim and enjoy!
2. Sangria Mocktail
Features: Tart fruit flavors and collagen supplementation

Makes 1 pitcher
Ingredients:
- 1 orange, sliced
- 1 grapefruit, sliced
- 1 apple, sliced
- Handful of blackberries
- 4 cups tart cherry juice
- Juice of 2 lemons
- Juice of 2 oranges
- 16 oz sparkling water or club soda
- 1–2 teaspoons Ceylon cinnamon

Directions
Whisk the cinnamon into a small amount of cherry juice or sparkling water until dissolved.
Place the sliced fruit in the bottom of a pitcher. Add the lemon juice, orange juice, and tart cherry juice, then stir well.

3. Cherry Shrub
Features: Traditional shrub recipe with cherries and apple cider vinegar

Shrubs date back to 17th-century England, where vinegar was used to preserve fruits and berries before refrigeration. These fruit-based beverages later became popular in the United States and remain a refreshing alcohol-free option today.
Makes: Approximately 1 liter
Ingredients
- 12 oz cherries, thawed if frozen
- 1/4 cup local honey or preferred sweetener
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 24 oz sparkling water or club soda

Directions
Mash the cherries thoroughly using a fork or potato masher. If needed, soften them by briefly cooking them or blending with a small amount of vinegar.
Add the apple cider vinegar and sparkling water and mix well.
Strain the mixture, reserving the cherries for another use such as oatmeal, yogurt, or smoothies.
Add the honey and stir until dissolved.
Transfer to a sealed container and refrigerate overnight. Shake before serving.

Directions
Add the sliced fruit to the bottom of a serving pitcher.
Pour in the chilled green tea and ginger kombucha, then stir well.

5. Cucumber Lemonade

Ingredients
- 1 cucumber, juiced
- Juice of 3 lemons

Directions
Combine the cucumber juice, lemon juice, sweetener, and water in a large pitcher and stir well.

Ingredients

Directions
Combine the citrus juice and honey in a glass.
